Now, and habits. pars covers both "I leave" and "I am leaveing" — French has no separate continuous form.
A completed past action. être conjugates and parti does not — suis parti(e).
An ongoing or habitual past. Built on the nous-present stem, so partons gives you partais.
About to happen. aller conjugates; partir never moves — the easier future to produce under pressure.
Will happen. Built on partir-, which is just the infinitive, so only the endings are new.

What this table tells you about partir
The past participle is parti, and it takes être in the passé composé — so it agrees with the subject: elle est partie, ils sont partis.
The futur simple is built on partir-, which is just the infinitive — the endings are the whole story, nothing new to learn for this tense.
In the present, je, tu and il/elle are one sound: pars, part — indistinguishable spoken. Only nous, vous and ils/elles carry an audible ending.
The imparfait is built on the nous-present stem, so once you know partons you already know partais, partait and partaient. Futur proche keeps partir untouched.
